Norway banned Snoop Dogg from entering the country for two years after the hip-hop star was caught attempting to bring marijuana into the country last month. In addition to the two-year ban, Snoop Dogg was fined 52,000 kroner (approximately $8600 USD) for the infraction.
The rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, will not appeal the decision. It is hard to refute that drug sniffing dogs found eight grams of weed in his luggage. Broadus was en route to a music festival in southern Norway in June when he was caught.
Snoop Dogg is no stranger to pot references and imagery in his music. Just a few weeks ago his collaboration with Wiz Khalifa entitled “French Inhale” was released. Check out the video below:
